La Salute means ‘Good Health’ or ‘Cheers’ in Italian, and Mangia Bene means ‘eat well’, basically you will enjoy the most authentic Italian eating experience with great food and great wines at La Salute restaurant. Our menu offers a range of authentic, delicious Italian dishes and daily specials for all the family to enjoy.

La Salute restaurant offers vegetarian (v) and gluten free dishes. Please ask a waiter regarding your requirements. At this restaurant, we serve Scottish Aberdeen Angus beef and hallal meat. We also use fresh vegetables from quality local suppliers. All main courses are served with choice of potatoes or homemade chips and fresh vegetables.

We came last night to try la salute after recently moving to the west Calder. We were warmly welcomed and had a great meal, I had a seafood linguine and can quite honestly say it was one of the best I’ve ever had. Fresh seafood and perfectly cooked pasta Probably the best meal I’ve had in West Lothian by a long shot

Myself and my husband went to La Salute, for the first time last night. The meal was delicious the owners were very attentive had a few jokes with us too!, We will 100% return!

Extremely good good in a small unassuming place. Pizza was proper home made pizza, cooked properly and with REAL ham on it, not that wafer thin fake 'formed from solids' rubbish. And the pasta was fresh and not over cooked with a delicate but flavorful filling. Even the chips were cooked properly. I cannot fault a single thing on the food. Whoever the chef is obviously cares and does a very good job. I will be back.
